![]() ![]() Maybe in early early game it is important to buy certain skills early on to increase you click dps which helps a lot to progress and there is a guide missing to tell you which one are the most important to get. Maybe the most important thing to understand is that the DPS of heroes you buy soon become irrelevant as you buy the one deeper so you don't want to spend too much time getting all the skills of a particular hero as it will not contribute much later on, whereas you can buy his skills later on when they don't cost much. You are totally right and I have also wondered if there was any optimization when I started a few days ago.īut it is really only when you are in later "early game" that calculator comes handy, before hand the best way to approach it can just be as the one I stated above or also as indicated in the FAQ here: in the When do I buy the next Hero? section.īasically what I am trying to say is that there is neither a need nor a mean to really optimize how you buy heroes and skills in the first 130 ish levels. Should I just always backfill the cheepest upgrade unless it's a Natalia/Ma Zhu type? Is 25% more gold better than 25% DPS on heros? Are there guidelines for what is (usually) best or interest in making a newb calculator? Then, backfill when the cost is reasonable. TLDR I've read several places that you should, in general, level a hero to their first +100% before moving on to the next hero. I know that complicatedness makes creating a calculator a lot of work, but it also make a calculator almost always better at finding the right answer than my brain would be. I'd ask myself, "would 125% of 25.64% of my DPS at 145+30Q be worth more DPS per cost than 20% of all heros at 80Q for the first ten, then another ~50Q for the next five levels, plus 30.1Q ?" It gets even more complicated when you start comparing click damage, crits, crit multiplier or gold drops each other. What I do now, in my first run (high 80's right now) when I'm waiting for gold to pile up is eyeball it. However, it might save a few hours in the days long first run of a lot of people, or even several minutes in the next 5 runs or so. Most people who are invested enough in the game to make an early game calculator are already past the very early game, so they wouldn't use the calculator. Related Subredditsīoth hero level calculators in the hotbar calculators list explicitly say "do not try to use this for early game." This is (I assume) because upgrading heros is sometimes better than leveling/buying a different hero. Please use our recruitment subreddit for all recruitment or searches.
